Top 5 Favorite Rides
Hello everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and a safe and happy New Year! I thought it would be fun to kick off 2016 with a fun post! Today, I want to talk about my all time favorite Disney World rides! I tried to narrow it down to just my top 5 and it was SO hard! I got it to 5, but I ended up having to leave out some rides that I do consider favorites.
5. Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin
This has always been one of my favorite rides! I always have a blast trying to beat my score (and the score of anyone riding with me.). I also love that I can ride it many times in a trip and it never gets old because it is a game as well as a ride!
4. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
Being the newest coaster at Magic Kingdom, it had to earn its way onto this list! I love how smooth it is and that there is a fun break in the middle with some of the most amazing audio-animatronic characters that I have ever seen.
3. Star Tours
I had never been on this until a year and a half ago. I wasn't sure I even wanted to go on it. I am not a huge Star Wars fan and had never been much for simulation rides. Well, I love it. One thing that makes this ride so much fun is the fact that you get a different combination of scenes every single time that you ride it! They also just added new characters and lands from the new movie which adds even more different combinations! Plus, it feels like you are flying, a theme I obviously like considering the next ride on this list.
2. Soarin'
Deciding between number 2 and number 1 was very difficult. Both are rides I love and never get tired of riding. Soarin' is such an amazing experience. I never would hang glide in real life. Things like that terrify me, but that's what makes this ride so much fun! You get the chance to feel what it is like without having to actually do it! I can not wait to see the new movie with new scenes from all over the world!
1. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
I was forced onto this ride. I didn't want to go. I hid my head in my jacket. I loved it. I was in 2nd grade the first time I rode Thunder Mountain and I was forced to go by the friend I was at Disney with. I had less than no interest in roller coasters. They seemed awful. Boy, was I wrong! This started a love for rides like this! It doesn't feel like a trip to Disney without a ride on the Wildest Ride in the WILDERNESS!! To me, it's a classic and so much fun.
I hope you enjoyed my top 5 favorite rides! I would love to hear what rides are in your top 5! You can leave them in the comments, I would love to read them! Happy New Year!
